An Initiative - Fight Thalassaemia

We Dare to Care

We have taken an initiative to help the, otherwise neglected people, suffering from life threatening disease "Thalassaemia", worldwide.

The earning from this website will have a philanthropic aspect also to help and support children suffering from blood disorder Thalassaemia to the extent possible. It is time to give back to the society what you have earned in life.

Thalassaemia is a disaster in waiting on planet Earth. It has a power to engulf the whole world and progression is exponential. And moreover, it is a silent monster which migrates from one generation to other so smoothly and yet unnoticed, irrespective of race and ethnicity.

It is understood from facts and figures that human genes underwent positive mutation in order to make a body immune or more resistant to Malaria parasite by knocking of one of two beta globin protein strain from the chromosome number 11. Humans with one beta globin gene were thus termed as Thalassaemia Minors (Carriers) and when two carrier mated, there were 25% chances in every pregnancy that child born was not having any beta globin genes. And this condition is thalassaemia major in which the bone marrow becomes non-functional thereby lacking production of RBCs.

So the blessings of this mutation has resulted in this Disaster. And it is creeping from one generation to NEXT, unnoticed till such time a family is encountered with more severe condition (Thalassaemia Major).

Presently there are more than two million cases of severe form of Thalassaemia, spread across the globe. No country, race, ethnicity is spared from this genetic mutation.

As a part of this noble initiative, we are in a process of collecting Medical data of people suffering from Thalassaemia, worldwide. We will try and make concerted all out efforts to help them with all available resources and bring back smile on their faces.

Hospitals, Pharmaceutical companies, Pathological laboratories, Social organizations, Venture capitalists, Angel investors and other NGOs are welcome to join this CSR (Corporate social responsibility) initiative and support us to help Thalassaemics.

As a part of our efforts we will issue a contactless RFID (Radio frequency identity card) with a Unique Identification Code (UIC) to every patient registered with us. The patient in any corner of the world can go to any of the partner organisation and get the treatment FREE of cost on submission of UIC. Partner organisation may validate the UIC through our website form UIC Validator.

We also request Google, Facebook, Bill Gates, Tata, Reliance, Celebrities and other global organization to kindly support us in fulfilling the dreams of millions.

We Dare to Care.
